A lasting base
A cash gift or suitable property can create a stable home and a place for productive work, learning and cooperation.

Patron Founders
Help establish a working House whose own livelihoods can sustain it—and create opportunities for others to build theirs.
Explore ways to supportWe are seeking founding patrons who want to make this beginning possible: a suitable property, essential productive facilities and the resources for a complete first working cycle.
A cash gift or suitable property can create a stable home and a place for productive work, learning and cooperation.
Tools and facilities need capable operators, practitioner support, real customer interest and working resources.
As the House develops a reliable economy, its capacity can support new teams, shared knowledge and independent livelihoods.
The land and the work
A suitable property is still being sought, with northern Portugal in view. The choice should serve both a stable home and the first viable activities.
Start with liveable space and the essential productive facilities. Specialist spaces and guest accommodation can develop as resources and viable work allow.
A place for your contribution
We welcome partners, advisers and mentors alongside founding patrons. If financial support comes with a wish to be more involved, we would welcome a conversation about the contribution and role you have in mind.
The immediate preference is non-repayable patronage through cash or suitable property. Acquisition, preparation and setup must be expressly funded; the model does not assume advance expenditure from the founders’ living budget.
No equity, profit share or financial return is offered to patrons. No property, fixed funding target or complete operating budget is confirmed.
The present intention is private ownership by Amanda, a stable home for Amanda and Yuri, and rent-free use for initiative and cooperative activities. Shared activity does not imply collective ownership of the property. Actual use arrangements and support terms need agreement.
The first task is to establish continuing House activities. Incubation follows when the base and support capacity exist. A property alone does not provide funded residency places, wages, food, transport or learning support; each programme needs its own clear resources.
Look for reliable deliveries, repeat customers, livelihoods and recurring costs covered by productive work. Later, look for teams that can sustain independent operations and useful knowledge made available to others.
The farm pictured in the original brochure was considered and rejected. It is not a selected property or current funding target. The photographs on this page imagine the kind of place we aim to create.
